About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream. oh lawd. I bought some 1/2" MDF today for the final cover panels. Speaking of...jeez there was a grumpy ass at Lowes. I asked about cutting up a whole 4x8 sheet of MDF so I could fit it in my car which would only be four or so cross cuts which would take all of 2mins on their panel saw. The guy sharply blurted out "We are not here to do your project for you......!" Well........GFY Lowes guy.........I went to Home Depot and they had convenient 2x4 pieces already so I got two of those. Next up, the big update.....
