Wicks
Not sure if you've explored this site, but it mainly has quality parts. https://www.fcpeuro.com/BMW-parts/M3 I use this site for all my volvo parts, figured i'd share. fcp euro is the shit. lifetime warranty on everything, seriously impressive. Sweet! Thanks guys. I'll check it out. Always interested in sites that have good part options. Need some new shocks real soon too DUDE... Just gave FCP Euro some business. Car started bucking and jerking at low speeds. Took it into the shop and had them look it all over. Got the estimate back and literally almost had a heart-attack. Looks like it needs a new clutch and flywheel (among many other things)... Looked all over for parts, almost pulled the trigger and then remembered to check FCP Euro. Better prices, better shipping and a lifetime warranty....? Even on wear parts. Holy shit.... BOOM Thanks for the help guys. Now I just need to scrounge up some more money somewhere so that I can actually have the parts installed. .....anybody need a kidney? Wicks
Home renovations are coming to a conclusion...........thankfully. Now the focus can begin back on the garage and finishing my damn trunk already. But first some maintenance was required..... The car was getting very jerky in parking lots at slow speeds. Took err in to the Stealership and sure enough they almost demanded one of my kidneys. They gave me a quote about four pages long and a price of Needed a clutch and BMW wanted more then double what I could get it for online myself. I am totally fine with giving a shop their fare share but damnnn, this was a bit much. Anyway I ordered the parts myself and found an independent shop literally 5mins from my work and got it done for half the price a couple weeks ago. Now onto a lingering problem that I've needed to address for a while........the shocks. All four completely blown out. Its been a bouncy ride recently. So I looked around and ECS Tuning was running a sale for 20% off so I figured the timing was right and needed to jump on it so..... I'm going to try and save some money here and put these in myself. I've done it before on another car and its not so bad if you have the right tools. Now the fun part....to get to the bolts on the rear shocks...most of my gear needs to come out of the trunk Access to the bolts is covered by a trim panel. Battery covers that trim panel. DC9K is covering the battery...you get the idea. While I'm in there, there is a good chance then my 360.3 is going to get ripped out as well. I'll probly put together a video of how weird its acting for everybody to see. Typing up a rant about a product always leans towards user error but when you see how its acting in person...you'll see. Regardless...big updates are planned for this upcoming summer. mmpannekake
the front shocks are easy to swap, used about 1 hour on both sides on my e39, pretty similar on the e46, the rear is abit harder but not that hard on my car i had to take the rear deck out to loosen the top bolt. i managaged to get the shock out with just taking the stabilizer rod of and push down on the wheel hub but it was damn close that i had to just unbolt everything because it was reaally tight. Sucks that u have to take everything out from the back...

Wicks
dBDrag season has started so I got back in the lanes finally and had some fun. Me and a buddy, who also has a trunk setup with two 12" Nightshades , where battling head to head. My qualifying 145.4 His qualifying 145.7 My final round 145.2 His final round 145.5 Both peaking at 42Hz Got beat both times by just 0.3dB and at the same frequency. Can't get much closer then that. That was a fun battle and I was giving it everything I had. Then I noticed this........
