meade916
Steve, how did you end up wiring the 14 stock speakers? Is there still 7.1 processing going on? Just wondering how that worked out is all....I know the T5s are going in soon anyway. 14 in, summed, "de-normalized" (3sixty corrects the factory eq settings for flat response), and then whatever i want out. Right now, just so i can have tunes till my T5's get here, i am just re-amplifying the stock 3-way doors. but ya, you put whatever you want in and you can have whatever you want out. Its great. Twostrokeking
Looks amazing dude. How old were you when you started customizing cars and doing car audio?? I want to be as talented as you one day. Chris Davis
Hey Steve those T5's look nasty and I assume they kill it if your placing them in the clean Lexus. I havent had the privilege of hearing them how would you say they stack up against my Focal 165KRX2's. Love the t5's look they remind me of the Hybrid Legatia's the reason I ask I may give up the KRX's in my next build.
snafu
Steve, It's the little touches that matter in a build like this. For example, I really like the way that you ran the cables up to the 3sixty and were able to use the factory trim pieces to give that a totally stock look. Nicely done. This is the only build I've seen since I finished mine 8 years ago that makes me want to finish some of the other parts of the install that were left undone - the underside of the trunk lid and the lighting there and in the front doors . . . all pre-wired. Now don't give me no crap about "I ain't drivin' it to Phoenix for no road trip." I'm thinkin' we need to take it to Tortilla Flats and see if we can't get the hook-up on a few Monster Energy drinks . . . 3 Quote Tony Candela - SMD Sales & Marketing Email me at [email protected] to learn about becoming an SMD Partner! meade916
installed a 4 zone temperature readout (and fan control) so i can see how hot the amp "chamber" is getting and monitor the effectiveness of the fans. They seem to do good! The piece that covers the box is being embroidered right now. I am having "is-F" (the official logo) done to it. It is expensive because it is multi-layered with different "heights" of string. At 13" x 7" its a LOT of string This is what it looks like right now. Trunk space! Thanks for the tip Ray! Worked great!
