alternatives for 45's?

Any suggestions for gaining those tenths alpine? Anything that always worked for you?

i can suggest a million and 1 things that have helped my car will it help you??? yes no maybe so

every car is differnt even if you have the 2 of the same make and modle with the same box some things will work in car 1 but will fail in car b.. its kind of crazy how it works

i think syrofoam beads will work a lot better than smoke. smoke, in a wind tunnel, works because it goes in one smooth, controlled direction. inside your box you will just see smoke everywhere as the subs make air move back and forth.

So to confirm one thing. 45s arent necessary bu what about if your slot port bends. in that corner the width is wider. is a 45 helpful in that corner?

(note: the 45 installed on the inside of box, inside of port is not the one i am talking about. I am talking about the corner in the port which does not have a 45 installed. is one there helpful?)

I'd feel like the displacement of the 45s being added accounts for more of the loss than the actual intended function of the 45s.

Not saying 45s help or hurt but using exact same volume with and without 45s would be the only way to know for certain whether it helps in an individual setup.
