i went through jeffs build log and found this quote

november 2011 to may 2012 isnt over a year.

after some more digging i found this posted by the big man.

Purplehaze is not finished with his system, at least the UBL i saw. It just kinda ended with "more to come". Thats not finished. I have to remove the nomination. Also, Bealstar13.....an amp just sitting there not hooked up. I looked at the other pics and didnt see any amps hooked up. Im not looking at video's im looking for pictures. Also, you have a SOTM winning tag under your name,you arent qualified to enter anymore. Removed.

everyone else, your chances just got better.......although i am STILL seeing incomplete build logs, logs with tons of red-x's, and just plain hard to follow. If i look at your entire thread and i cant make out what you have, you shouldnt be in this contest.

thank you. And that being said, please make a UBL with your finished system that is COMPLETELY different from the system you won with (previously) and you are more then welcome to enter next month. If we do a "under construction" one, then you are even more welcome to submit the project with the new changes happening. As it stands though, we have to come up with some criteria and i dont know if i can make it work. Ill try.

according to sotm rules, i am eligible since rules state you can only win once a year, i last won in feb 2010. Why am i just hearing of this now then? since i have been nominated the past 4 months

Sheena, I was told that it was by calendar year and had to be a new build. But I don't remember which mod told me that. I will wait for Chode to clarify. If I was informed wrong by all means remove me from the list.

i only brought it up because in november they didnt let BeAlLsTaR13 run because he had a sotm tag, and his amp wasnt hooked up.

and it sounds like you were informed right, i just posted the unspoken "completely new install" rule above.

just in the rules it should be clarified that its calendar year, etc.
