Sutliff
Just ordered some red 1/0awg Kolossus Fleks OFC from Knu ... Want to make a better, much higher-quality "Big 3" ALT ----> BATT cable than the 1/0 welding cable I have know. I do not know if it will really make much a difference, but it has been on my mind for awhile, but I needed to get that D975 tied-in first. Sutliff
That's a clean mess lol Looking good sir Yeah, I know ... I did everything I could to get this on the other side ... I know you're just busting my balls, & I love it (!!!), but deciding to mount the amps opposing each other was somewhat predetermined by the 4-channel interconnects that were already run, ... On some of the previous pages you can see where I had started to figure out the routing of the cables here & there. All speakers cables are - within an inch - the same length, & is enough still there (hidden) that I could decide to move both the x-overs anywhere to help facilitate some better routing. I have drawn some ideas ... both on paper, & in my mind's eye on how I could make it look more pleasing. I know if left alone, I need to shorten this, & shorten that, etc., ... to just "tighten" everything up ... I will say, although maybe others may not agree, that as long as I see that everything looks "sound", & I have gone back through to re-tighten, etc., everything, & I put my backseat up, ... no one is ever going to see it, ... except me when I look on occasion to make sure all is OK, or if a fuse blows, ... but I've always said that if everything is installed correctly, & proper maintenance is checked/kept, blowing a fuse should basically not happen. As an FYI, for anyone who wonders what it is, the 1/0awg coming out of the top of the NEG terminal & goes TWD the right is a GND that is tied into the left, rear strut tower as an attempt for solid GND back when I was first chasing all the voltage stuff ... & have just decided to keep it in place ... Thanks for poking your head in, Sir. Sutliff
As mentioned a week ago, I ordered KunKoncept Kolossus Fleks OFC to make a new, better ALT --> BATT "Big 3" cable. I know the current 1/0 welding cable in place is OK, but I have always wanted to switch that cable up to something definitively better. 10 Feet, 1/0 ... Now just seeking a day without much to do, & one where my back doesn't hurt so bad. Stay tuned, ... bcbrassard
Pretty..... Like the red. Therewas a thread a week ago or so that said welding cable is better. Allows more amperage thru it. ?

Yeah? Hmmm, ... I will only say that this Knu 1/0 certainly larger than the 1/0 welding I have in place now. I will get a side-by-side in a few, ...
