Swan99Hoe
Well my local Lowes tells mi that they are not restocking their supply of Birch plywood because they are about to stop carrying it. Idk if this is true or they were just bullshiting mi. I've only used mdf before and with this build being my most legit build to date I wanted to use birch. If I'm not concerned with the weight of the wood do I not have much to worry about? Opinions and suggestions are appreciated. Smurfboy
Dunno. I've always liked MDF much myself. If I need to make the box bit stronger, I double-layed the MDF altogether. Weight is not of a concern to me. Is the weight you're concern about?
OrionStang
Lowes birch sucks anyways. Search for lumber yards near you that carry 13-ply baltic birch. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Def worth the price considering you don't get mdf boogers afterward. Menards carries it too but it is expensive I just picked up more mdf @ Menards yesterday. $32.65 for a 3/4" 4 x 8 sheet. I looked at 13 ply birch too and it was $36 for a 4 x 8 sheet so the price difference isn't that much. Quote www.facebook.com/BILLatDivineCreationsPhoto He was taunting me.
