Stee-Z
ok.. i have a dvc 2 ohm 9515 DD . i just thought about it and i have my pos to my pos, and my neg to my neg...then ran my pos to pos on my amp and neg to neg on my amp..... but i just thought about it ..shoulnt it be a loop between the pos and neg then run on pos from the coil and one neg from the coil to my amp to creat a 1 ohm load? and can someone tell me what load i am currently? maybe im just delusional :/ Quote (4)DD 9918's (2)DC 10k 8 6.5" focals 2 DD SS4 mid amps Audison Bit One processor Jl-cl-rlc line driver iPad in dash Dual Irragi 320a alts 8 batcaps 4000's Second Skin sound deadened
Toby Ratcliffe
to create a 1 ohm load on a dual 2 ohm speaker, connect both positives and both negatives, and run that to your amp. This is called parallel wiring. Series wiring like you described at the end would make your amp see 4 ohms.
