that ground doesn't look very good imo , and then with how cars are made with uni-body construction it could actually be a worse ground than it looks , body and structure parts being glued and spot welded . shock tower has been my first choice for grounding or seat mount bolts sometimes

Sand your grounding point down to bare metal and secure the ground to the chassis using a nut and bolt.

That looks like 8 gauge...

So yeah some true 4 gauge with a better ground. Are you changing the amp as well?

even though its over kill use 0 awg wire and you will have the wire ran for any up grades later on ....

and that ground is a joke did a car audio place install with 2 self tapers ... if so take it back and show the owner .. the owner might not know the installer doesnt have a clue on how to do the grounds correctly
