ONLY way to fix is a projector retrofit or some ebay projectors (which are actually designed for halogen bulbs) Also 4300k is the brightest you will get. More color = less output. Ive driven my truck in the three years Ive owned it three times at night. The lights are bright enough without projectors. They are also aimed down some so that they dont blind anyone. If I have to wreck the entire flow of the front end to do things the right way I'll pass. BTW the original guy is a douche and thats why something was said. CleanSierra Posted May 29, 2012 Report Share Posted May 29, 2012 Randall, I had some of the first generation of the euro clear headlights on my 1990 Chevy stepside. I remember seeing everyone else around that was running them and also the projector lenses. I had to cut the back of the housing if I remember corrrectly and they ended up sitting flush just perfectly. You don't seem like the type of guy that would be opposed to modifying something to make it perfect. I remember seeing some "show" trucks around that had the lenses I was running and they were sticking out the inch and inch and a half like the ones you've obviously seen. I always had to laugh! The clear headlights and lower parking lights, along with the corners markers all in clear are a great CHEAP way to make the front end of your bodystyle truck REALLY fresh in my opinion.
