2 18s or 3 15s?

Recommended Posts

2x18 would require a bigger box around 10-15net

3x15 7-12net

Power will depend on subs but 15 will probley be more

On cone area 15's are bigger 510-530sq"

So my 2cents

Would come down to

Space

Car

Power

And what I wanted to achieve

And seen as none of that is listed

I can't give you my choise

They don't like "Verses" threads around here ... very understandable too ...

I've always liked 4 12s myself ...

But we really could use more information on your vehicle application to be able to help you more Sir ...

I know mrd6 mentioned it. But the ohm loads would be my biggest thought, I would have to go with 2 15's or if you have the space 2 18's. Seems to work nicer :)

Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at.

I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k.
