Printmaster
Op I think a single turbo will do you fine. But can I ask you this is the kit you are looking at, does it come with new fuel injectors (bigger) because as you add air you have to have more fuel to go with it. And you are on the right track as far as upgrading the bottom end of the motor but don't forget about yours heads. Lots of power to be had with good heads and a cam. Any way good luck no matter which way you go.

Audio-Concepts
Wish I would have seen this sooner. The single turbo setup is the way to go compared to a twin. The single setup is more efficient, easier tuning, plus installation is less of a headache. The kit from Hellion comes with everything!!! The turbo, all piping, injectors, intercooler, all brackets, hoses, lines, base tune! The kit literally has every aspect needed to add the turbo to his car! Plus I also believe there is a warantee! The reason to run a turbo over a blower! A turbo can literally make more power at low boost than a blower can at high boost. I converted from blower to turbo on an old car and gained 65hp with my single turbo at 12lbs to my blower at 26lbs. Turbos run off of recycled power, where as roots and centrifical blowers rely on the motor to make the power. The power from turbos is off the exhaust so no pulleys and belts that can break and cause more damage than good. Granted you get lag from turbos, but you also gain about 2-3000 in a powerband of making boost. When driving a turbod street car, you dont need instant power, youll just waste money on tires. When racing, thats why you have staging lights, so you can get into boost before green and launch into powerband. b-dubs89
as for the lag , people have done a 50 shot or 100 shot of nitrous to make a turbo equipped engine spool up faster

It works very well from my experience! b-dubs89
i think turbos are a beautiful piece of machinery , one of these days i want to hop something up with a turbo, but a more budget mined project
