OrionStang Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 Applesauce glazed pork chops about to go in the oven. Kinda winging this recipe, we'll see how it turns out in an hour. The glaze is applesauce, equal parts bbq sauce and worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and a clove of garlic. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Quiet Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 Looks bangin' Ken. Let me know how it works out cause I'll try that. Been looking for a good pork chop recipe. Gotta stay away from beef and turkey to keep my uric acid level down... I'm like a fucking old man LOL 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.
Lbox88 Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 ^What he said, looks tasty. Only thing I thought of that might be good to add would be a little brown sugar. UBL | Build Log
OrionStang Posted December 5, 2012 Report Posted December 5, 2012 Fuck, my bad, there is 1/4 light brown sugar in the glaze, too. @srp-You should try my maple-mustard chops. 1/4c REAL maple syrup 1/4c dijon mustard 1/8c olive oil (may need more if the chops stick during searing, trial and error) 1 minced clove of garlic salt and pepper Let the chops marinate in a storage bag in the fridge in the mixture for 3-4 hours. Remove the chops, save the marinade. Sear the chops in a hot skillet, 2-3 minutes a side. Pour some of the marinade over them, then finish them in a 325 oven, no more than 10-15 minutes. Remove and cover with foil to rest for 10 minutes, then serve. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
