how did your dd1 take a crap...?

It pulled off its blue boot, opened its battery door and went #2

OP. did you put all of the subs in the same Box? If that amp is sending out at least 500 Watts rms., those p1s were over powered. The Dual was over powered too.

this is what im thinking. something is wrong inside the amp, causing it to output dc voltage no matter what

damn dude dont know what to tell yah then! maybe get a different amp lol

probably could have gotten a new amp instead of buying 5 woofers lol

lol x2. i would honestly get rid of that p.o.s

Agreed, if your looking for some small power. Check out the MB Quart FX amps, they have a 600, 800 I belive, and a 1k that are great for the money.

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

overpowering a sub is not a problem, playing that sub past the point of distortion is the problem. Moore power=more control BUT self control is the factor

edit-

5. ambient temperature is WAY too high=normal operation of the amp/sub combo simply pushes the sub past the thermal tolerances

*** had this happen in a system with everything in the trunk, even witrh fans it smoked a weak sub***

its the loose nut behind the wheel! That will do it every time

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
