CJ18 Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 If you are really at 1.5 sealed then you are really choking the subs. I would double that for a sealed airspace. You probably would not have room for the box and be able to stay in your class that way though. Best bet would be what had been mentioned earlier, subs up port back. I would give the 8s a shot before you swap over to the 12s since the cone area is pretty much a wash.

CJ18 Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 I can almost guarantee that there is not 7000w clamped power going to those subs. If there were then they would blow themselves out of the box. I would be shocked if there is more than 4-5000w clamped power at the very most.
