best 150 dollar subwoofer?

OP your budget is a little low but if you shop around im sure you could get 2 skar vvx's for around that price if not a tiny bit more.

I know for sure theres a vvx 15 for sale on here for 180 shipped atm. Used is always a route too Good deals do show up.

Also now I check... there is some skar ivx's on amazon for 130 bux each

A single 15 in that car with the right box will be pretty loud

Idd ge something like a FiQ15 with the works and run it at full tilt,

You have the best of both worlds, loud and plenty of sq

A Fi SSD is about $200 and I think that for the price is a great deal 1000W RMS of quality sound.

Re SEs could be on this list 600rms but can throw them 750 daily i used to have one then i upgraded to an SXX (i paid180 which was a steal, 10" tho).i like it but i like the looks of AQ and sundown FI aswell. People say that RE isnt made the way they used to be but so far idk been good to me, ive had my hifonics 1200.1 on it pretty much maxd out and it handled it like a champ, small box so u could throw more at it also it did get a pretty warm on the VC after a solid hour of bangin'.

pushin all 1200 rms via multimeter, the sub itself is rated at 1000 rms. 150 for my amp 180 for my sub not too bad u can hear me comin a good half mile with 1 10

You must be completely under-estimating the subs listed..

My 15 XFL could be heard from 3 blocks away, and I'm not talking about playing @ full tilt neither.

Go with SA-12s dude, seriously. I have yet to receive mine as I just ordered them, but they're some beefy ass solid subs.

People who are new to car audio seem to judge equipment solely on wattage ratings. When you are properly introduced to real systems with quality equipment, you then realize how far wattage can really get you.

Just realize that sir-nooby-ghetto-wannabe with his "2000 watt" system he half got from Walmart, half got from Bestbuy, with his gains set to 11, and in a prefab enclosure, is really running a crappy quality system, and will run off with his tail between his legs when he hears a REAL 1200 watt system built with quality gear by someone who took care in their install.
