Ok... So no more on the tweeter pods until my local home depot re-stocks some respirator filters. I don't feel like killing any more brain cells lol

BUT, I do have an update. My regulator came in today. The blue transpo one. First order of business was to convert the alt to work with it. Thanks to Dave @ DC Power for holding my hand through that

Back is off. Brown thing in the middle is for the brushes, the black thing up top is the internal regulator, which I will be removing.

De-soldering...

And here comes the part that made the back of my neck sweat a little - grinding off a spacer so the new piece will fit

There we go!

All put back together - you can see old vs. new :D

That low-low note? Nahhh, I wish lol. It just makes the subs move a bunch. My lower limit is 25hz and that is around 20

To bad!

Cool story bro:

I just remember my buddies system last summer, and the people enjoying the lows on "Where is this going".

Also, he's talking about wanting a Forester to wall of :drink40:

Small but important update. Finally got some belt wrap on the alt. BIG, HUGE shout out to Tanner at SoundWerks!!!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Subaru this is how much belt wrap they have. It's horrible. Honestly: I'd rank this in with one of the top 2 things my car desperately needed - the other one being deadener on the roof.

Oh: and about the tweeters. I've been procrastinating lol. Going to try and at least knock out one side tomorrow
