blross91
I kno the sp4 is rated at 2500 rms but Im just curious has anyone on the site tried to max it out to see how much it could take?
SnowDrifter
How much it can take is relative to how much mechanical power handling you have and how long you plan on playing it at a given power level for Sure, it can take 10k for a few seconds to burp it. But try to play music on that same amount of power and expect it to go poof. On a side note: Why do you need that much for theater use? And how do you plan on running more power to it when most outlets are only rated at 15 or 20a ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
