look at performance tecniqu amps they are cheep, put out a good amount of power and they can take a beating.

they have all of them at millionbuy.com. one thing to remember is look at the rms power not the peak. they over rate them i think. that is their bigest problem.

wow all that building for some audiobahns and looks like TINY port

i bet maybe the build had higher end subs in there, and he swapped them out with audiobahns to keep his equipment. that'd be somethin i'd do if i sold mine and kept the box in there if it was that custom

  • 10 months later...

I just bought a TIS 510pk 700 watt amp from e-bay brand new. I doubt very much that it puts out

700 watts, in fact i know it don't. i took it apart and looked at the mosfets and found only the power

supply section has mosfets. Also i found a little info on the net about the amp and i can't remember

the site but it was posted that it only had 75 watts a channel and like 150 watts to the sub channel.

I have yet to hook it up to see for myself but rest assured when i do everybody here will know. I have

an electronics degree and have built my own car audio amp in the past just to do it and it turned out

quite nice at 200 real watts RMS. Also there was a video i found of some guys ford ranger with the

TIS 510pk 5 channel amp in it and it was rockin, but he did'nt show the amp itself just nightime

and the radio jammin. As far as the TIS 1802a i don't know but i'm sure it's like the rest of TIS amps,

not well built but i don't know for sure. Judgeing from the way it's built and the insides, it's not gonna

be louder than my pioneer deh-6300 and it cranks at 22 watts rms a channel. I will post a reply when

i get done hookin it up. By the way you guys are allright, cool site plus Steve Mead guy looks to do very

good work, to bad i was'nt in his neighborhood. Keep rockin guys!
