99GPGTX Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Dad and i are heading down to play a practice roound in southern IN. Welll, we were in the left lane 5 lane highway, speed limit 55. We were going 67-68 (with traffic). Guy flags us down from a about a 1/4 mile away, so we pull over. Guy says we were going 71, we are about 99% he shot the guy next to us but since we were in the left lane he assumed it was us? Also the ticket says the wrong car...it say a 08 Camry Hybrid (old car) instead of the new Lacross. Seems like the cop wasnt even paying attention. Anyways what can be said if dad were to go to court? Figure it would be cheaper to drive and go to court, compared to paying $200+ for the ticket. Any useful advice appreciated. JasonJones Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Thats what iv been reading...the fact the car is completely different makes me think the ticket will get thrown out On the citation, if the vehicle is completely wrong but has your license plate number the judge may not automatically throw it out. Also, did he put estimated speed or clocked it with radar? I'd totally go fight it and admit no fault (not even going 66-67) and stick to the point that the officer made a mistake.

ALSO ask the court to show record of when the officer's radar was last calibrated... 87chevyboi Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 just go to the da and they will drop it ive gotten 2 tickets in sanford nc where i live and the cops hate me but 2 times in a row they wrote the wrong street bike i was on and i had an 87 caprice and they wrote a 97 bmw both of which i owned before the cars i had then. Just tell them what happend and you might have to show a date of when you sold the car or if you didnt own teh car that would be easier then they have no evidence to support why the cop did that. Dont mean to brag and i hate that part of my life but ive been locked up since i was 16. ive had some outrageous charges about 3 or 4 involving 20+ years in prison but if you got money you can beat it and if they fuck up you can deff beat it. Ive learned alot about the judicial system, theres ins and outs of it and if you talk to a lawyer you can learn alot. My build aka Snow White whats wrong with fat chicks? they are like mopeds, as long as your friends dont see you riding it, they are a blast! hahah I am dumb as a stump. I live in the south and we are all dumb here.
