Fosgatefeind Posted July 9, 2012 Report Share Posted July 9, 2012 So on Saturday I had my first run with the new equipment. 2 dd 9510s on a m3a box tuned to 38ish. Peaked at 41 hit a 140 flat. Clamped watts 1400ish. I wa very disappointed. I new it was a hell of a difference from my previous system. 2 mtx 9510s on rockford t1000-1bdcp. Box tuned to 32 peaked at 34. Did a 139.7. So basically why am I not doing as good as I planned? Every one that new what I was doing and saw 43s or 45s comming from this. Thats why most guys test test test and then test some more. n8ball2013 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Share Posted July 9, 2012 either your vehicle peaks super low your tuned lower than you think all other factors aside your enclosure peak will be about 45-47 hz in that ballpark what car is this a monte carlo right? your vehicle peak is going to be higher than that as well. my guess is you are tuned lower than you think.
