Not that guns are bad, im very unfavoring to both sides, but as kids I mean, no guns, I brought an airsoft gun to school in 4th grade to show all my friends how cool it was, only a few years after columbine happened, shit got crazy, dumbest decision of my life. I would have saved myself alot of potential trouble if guns hadnt been so interesting to me as a young one TBH

most anti gunners information is not information at all. Its propaganda. A licensed and responsible gun owner is far less likely to commit a crime involving a firearm. A criminal who is already prohibited from possessing a firearm is usually who commits gun related crimes. There are very few people who can legally carry a weapon in NYC or chicago and look how many people get shot. The act of carrying a firearm is a felony but yet they are doing it anyways. Instead of taking action and hammering these individuals they are getting slaps on the wrist while the mayor and company are pointing the fingers at the places you can get a gun and blaming them. N8, i fully load MOST of my guns when i shoot them for the first time, but thats because they only hold 2 rounds, almost all my guns are 12ga O/Us.

Any idiot can shoot themselves, I've been brought up properly handling firearms, i know what to and not to do, for the most part, its common sense. O/U won't hold 3 rounds. Most of my guns are shotguns, O/Us, which have 2 barrels, if you shoot yourself with an O/U you're a fucking idiot and in contention for the darwin award.

unless you're a cop you can't carry in chicago, open or concealed. Gangbangers don't give a fuck though. All they do is strip us of any way to protect ourselves and take forever to respond to 911 calls. Its easy to get a throw away on the streets, i haven't tried before, but I've been offered in chicago, tulsa and OKC, hell, even in my little town of St. Charles, IL. I knew a guy who broke into a police car, stole a gun from the car, tried to sell it to me, at which point i told him to fuck off, and he buried it in his yard... Those who CANT have guns WILL get them, thats my whole point.

The problem with the world is your mind set Alan. All it takes is education to properly handle a firearm and respect it. Most of the accidental shootings that happen involving children are because they were playing with something they knew nothing about. If you teach them what can happen how to use it and when and where to do so there will be less accidents in the home. I have been around guns all my life and from a young age my father instilled in me not to ever F*** with a gun outside of self defense or at the range. Most adults need education as well because they believe you can just load it, point and shoot...a gun isnt a digital camera takes a little more to understand and not harm yourself. If you shoot yourself by mistake you seriously need to learn a lot more. With anything else people who don't understand will argue the cons of it. I think learning gun control and safety is just as important as teaching your kids about practicing abstinence or safe sex. I rather my child know better than learn the hard way.

My mindset is fine thanks, and I see what your saying. I never said that was a bad plan, all I said was that if I had kids I would wait until they werent kids anymore (not like 18 legal adult, but like 13 or something) Because responsibility isnt taught in my mind...My sister was the star child, responsible, smart, over achiever, none of that reflected on my preteen years even though I was with her all the time. I also didnt surround myself with the best of friends which also didnt help making the right choices. If my kid might be experimental why should I endanger himself or other by introducing him/her to weapons at such an early age even if I tried to show them how dangerous and deadly one can be? My father is an extremely intelligent man, and to be real one good ass marksman, he became national champion i believe more than once and even beat someone who went onto win olympic gold, like yours he tried to get me going early with how dangerous guns were and how fucking stupid I would have to be to play with them but at my young age I sort of wrote him off. Im NOT saying all kids would be like that, but I wouldnt risk safety finding out if one of mine were......
