Moreno93
Looks good. Tuned in. Quick question though, What all did you put where the panels meet in the back? Im getting a tad bit to much rattle back there.. Planning on putting some dampener and then some foamy stuff or polyfil to keep the panels from making noise.. Im getting a tad bit to much rattle back there.. Planning on putting some dampener and then some foamy stuff or polyfil to keep the panels from making noise.. There is 80mil audiotechnix deadener, then some thin foam, like .25in thick. But my rear panels are also screwed on so they dont have too much of a chance to move. Back wall has 4 2x4's attached to it to keep the back from flexing too much. ChevyBoy95
Went to a show today, not super happy, but for being the first test of this set up i did a 148.1 peaking at 33. Kinda want to build a new box, give them more airspace, or at least more port and get my 50. But im going to fool with this box a bit and see if i can make any gains with another d3100 and try some of the seat placements and whatnot to see if i can at least get a 149 out of it. On to the batteries.... (AA500.1 is at .67 btw) W/ 2 Powerware G31's & a C&D UPS 300mr (G34), I dropped to 11.4v music full tilt (lowest dropping song), amp got hot pretty quick W/ XS Power S3400 & 2 D3100s (same 3 battery groups), i dropped to 11.8v full tilt (" "), amp barely got warm. I am happy so far, think i just need 1 more d3100 to keep my high 12s to 13v full tilt at idle, should help my score a tiny bit as well, but i LOVE how my amp doesn't get hot anymore.
