Private party you can buy handguns legally as long as you have your carry permit, which you can get at 18. And you can carry with your permit at 18. So the only way to legally posess a handgun under 21 is private party with ccw or if your parents or grandparents gift it to you. But ammo you have to be 21 to buy it. no way you guys can really get carry permits there under 21? I think getting rid of the lifetime permit is a good thing... 5 year permits are suitable... I think getting rid of the lifetime permit is a good thing... 5 year permits are suitable... I think it's good that it will keep people from having permits that shouldn't have them but at the same time I don't want to have to pay every 5 years to be able to do something I should be able to do without a permit in the first place.
