Music Format Question.

Recommended Posts

Ok i have windows vista, and just downloaded some music. (yes its paid for) anyway three songs i downloaded are mp3 format and the rest are wav i have tried burning them as is and my cd player doesnt read them. so I switched the format to wma9, that didnt work, then I tried wma7 still nothing. whats the deal? when i switched the formats from wma9 to wma7 I burned over the same disc so im guessing that may be the problem. I know cds are wma format so im guessing i need wma7 since the options have for audio cd in that format. Anyway am i doing something wrong? What do I have to do to get these to work on other cd players?

Burn the CD with Windows Media Player.

Yea, try burning it with windows media player. It takes the guess work out of weather or not your burning it as data or burning it as music. If that doesn't work, convert them to mp3's then burn them.

one word. "nero" use nero man. windows media player will work fine but if you want to "git in there nice and deep like" use nero. you can also encode the audio files to a different type of file and change the bit rate and stuff.
