As you now know, a flat small piece is nothing like contours or corners. Just my .02 I think captain has a reason to take rays advice with a grain of salt since it seems to be that captain specializes exclusively in cf products and ray is an audio installer. Not saying that ray doesn't know anything about cf but there's just no way that he can have as much experience with carbon fiber when it is rarely used in car audio.
