Finally, a microphone that DOESN'T distort from bass?!?!

I asked a guy on youtube by the name of TylerTron21 what mic he uses since his videos have seriously no bass distortion. He replied back saying "The aftermarket sony Mic that slips onto their dslr cams."

So I would assume he is talking about something like this:

If we could figure out how to possible adapt this to a standard camera, that would be sweet. Might be worth looking into for some of you

that mic sounds good but you can't hear any bass at all. I think my current camera (Sony Cybershot TX-66) does a great job and doesn't mute out any bass. Gotta have some distortion or it don't sound loud on cam. I bet that video you posted, those 10's are hitting alot harder then the camera makes it sound.

if i wanted to hear a perfect version of the song, i would go buy it. Nothing except being in the car is going to sound like being in the car.

i do gotta give the mic props for not distorting.....too bad it doesn't add enough bass back into it to give you the impression that the system is loud. It kinda makes the system sound weak. I know its probably not though.
