knarnn
haha ok...yeah I've never called or owned any of those other companies subs...I never had a problem with "lifetime warrantys" just telling it how it is and thats my experience with the others...and as far as this sub goes it's not a dissapointment...you could compare this sub to one of 5x its price.... and in the realm people don't really talk to people either sooo...yeah...i'm trying to give this kid some info and your talking shit about me...exactly why I have left and re0signed up for this forum like 5 times in the last 3 years so...uhh...yeah...thats why I like the realm and I do not fancy the SMD site..but some ppl here are cool, and some have pretty nice setups too... mystery sub better than these in same box in same car on same amp on same headunit Alpine type r--the people that answer the phone are dumbasses rockford hx2-RF 1 year warranty is good, but it's a pain memphis M3--lifetime warranty is a joke, they don;t even do it anymore sundown SA--they had the best cusomer service out of all the others BTW, just wanted to clairify that Mystery sub responds next day no problems OK, here is my question. If you have experienced the customer service for all these brands, does that mean you blew all of them? If so, ever stop to think you might be doing something wrong???? I wouldn't even entertain that post
wellington
Comparable to a sub 5 times it's price? You trollin. well the 12" is $60. 5 times that is $300. Maybe he means kicker/alpine/kenwood/JL? a jl 12w3v3-4 is still fucking $260 at some shops because JL's site claims it's $280. I can almost guarantee one of them is superior to a 12w3. My buddy had four of them on a saz 1500 v3. They bumped hard for what they were.. Seriously? I wouldn't have guessed they could have lasted under real wattage... well I don't know what kind of electrical he had or if the voltage was dropping or what the box rise was, but 1500 divided by 4 is 375 rms per sub. twice that is 750w rms. just above what each sub is rated for RMS....seems about right... the real question is: are they over rated? I would say yes. but for $60 seems like a good deal. I know personally I had a boss onyx nx159dc. slammed on just 250w rms. WAYYYYY harder than anything you could get for the price. 4.0 ported box. 125w rms per coil from a 2 channel rf p500-2. It was rated for 1500w rms but most of these off brands double the RMS, usually. I don't think these are really built as tough as, say, a sundown, DC, DD, Fi, etc. Not to mention those are all UNDER RATED and this thing is almost certainly OVER RATED. I am going to pick 2 of these up from ebay just for kicks. Seen a LOT of good reviews on them. They are cheap enough to try out. 2010 HHR LT - DNX 6160 - sony xec-700 - sony xm-4040 for door mids - XM-6020 for tweets in a-pillar - saz1500d v1 - VVME RD-12 1.75 f^3 32hz guru and president of the "cheap asses trying to beat up the block with bargain bin woofers" club
