Sosebee Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Smart car! Don't quote me on this but I believe there's a 3 cylinder diesel engine option with manual transmission. Smart cars only get like 33 mpg, which is pretty bad for what you pay for one. My buddy has a vw Passat and get like 38 when he drives to work all week or we go on road trips. I was surprised how high the mpg was in that car. 2005 Chevy Colorado Pioneer avic-x930bt Alpine pdx-m12 Alpine pdx-f4 Focal is 165 Focal ic 165 Sundown SA 15 D4 Kicker 0/1 OFC power wire Kicker 12 awg speaker wire XS Power D2400 DC Power 270 H/O Alt

Eddie Long Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Have you ruled out diesel? You could get a golf TDI or something Just what I was going to suggest.....a Golf or Jetta TDI.....diesel motors last forever and these cars get close to 50 mpg.........yes 50.......lol
conceptM Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 And not even that slow.. ok, it's not a WRX, but it's pretty fluent in normal traffic. I had a Skoda Superb TDI (4 years old) and was amazed how it drove: lot's of space, nice trunk and smooth ride. It stuck pretty good to the road and only consumed 52 Miles/Gallon combined. Newer motors even consume less (I've even heard people stating 60)! (Oh my god, that's a nice conversion from Liters/Km to Miles a Gallon ) Woofer: 12" Phase Linear Aliante Limited Mids & highs: DLS Ultimate 5 1/4" Amp: Audison VRX 6.420 HU: Sony CDX-C90R

boom50cal Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Used Volvo S40 turbo! Drove my dad's to school today, infact. 2001 S40 1.9T. Does 26 in city, 32 on highway with an intercooler flush, new ignition coils, and oil changes every 3k miles. Bought ours with 125k miles for $2500, leather, power everything, sunroof, etc. On 1/4/2013 at 9:31 PM, HatersGonnaHate said: Wow. 184 posts and I think you're a fucking asshole.
Jordan Guess Posted September 27, 2012 Author Report Posted September 27, 2012 damn that is hell of a deal for that volvo... I think I have found what I want though, so let me know if this is a good deal or not. VW Jetta, 2003 GLI, v6, has 69,000 miles on it. asking for $9000, and Im aloud to make payments (through a dealer). power everything, leather seats, 6 speed manual. what do you guys think? is that a fair price? gets about 25 mpg city, 31, highway.
all4spl Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Honda Fit, I own a 2009 Sport and I get 31MPG in the city with 300lbs of subs/amps/batteries in the back. And I still get 41MPG on the highway, with the audio gear in it. When I drove it for a month without audio gear I was getting 35MPG in the city and 45MPG on the highway. GL in your car search, and if you want anymore info on the fit you can either PM me or check out this site full of info; http://www.fitfreak.net Retired from SPL again.... 2016 IASCA Truck/Trunk 2 Champion 151.8db 2016 IASCA Truck/Trunk 2 World Record Holder
