OrionStang Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Thats why you use a step bit/uni bit. I wouldn't suggest it if they didn't make them big enough. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

chiefofmytown Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Jeezus that looks like a wood hole saw u used. Lol Uhm Uni-Bit is best choice. Even if they don't make 1 big enough u can do 2 side by side. Clean it up with a hand file and affix grommet. Good luck. Also the Uni-bit is expensive, but worth it.
Tarball Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Hole saw works great, You have to get the metal ones and don't buy el-cheapo. I used a large hole saw on both my cut-through and a hole in my firewall for power wire. No issues at all, ate through it like it was butter. TylerParrish Posted September 25, 2012 Author Report Posted September 25, 2012 ended up getting and using a diamond tip cutting wheel for my dremel, decided it'd be easier to make a square since i could barely fit my drill in the area i needed to.
