With the cone being the only difference? And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. audiofanaticz
same large box, same vehicle, same motors, same power. 2 9518s dual 1.5s powered by 2 spl dynamics ext-3000ds box was rather large coming in around 20cube in a tahoe, and was 151.1 dropped to a 150.3 (db drag legal). swapped to mayhems and the score was in the same area as the old comp cone dd after them stiff bastards loosened up... audiofanaticz
granted imo that price for a cone is not to justify that price tag, bottom line there is more to the cones than just looks.. id never buy them again thats for sure. but if you are after pure numbers, even if your just trying to gain a little, it may help you out. I never cared about numbers as long as i could do a db drag certified 150+db and peaked in the low 30s with tuning into the mid 20s I was happy. dont let the banner in my signature fool you. I used lots of DD before swapping to fi/aa

Bump4life
just for looks mainly. not a significant if any performace increase. and they will cost you your other leg NOT TRUE AT ALL im not saying it doesnt have any benefit. i said ti was a small increase if running real power to these subs on the larger cones!! .7 db is fairly significant but thats for 18 inch subs in a huge box. and in audiofanatics case an ectra 600-700 total for .7 db. like i said before it helps but it is not significant for the price. think of other options you have. so i am on the same page as audiofanatics jsut didnt express it very well. they help but not much for how much you pay. they are mainly for looks. although some would say a .7db increas is significant which i can argue why it is but that is in a huge box with the 18. lets see how much it would effect a smaller cone such as a 10 or 12. i would bet the gain is less and you still pay 400-600 on smaller subs if you have 2 of them. I agree if you are after numbers and have done everything else, go get it, but if you have other upgrades i would buy another bat or more runs of 0 gauge or better alt/amp before i bought these to gain.
