Daniel Brill-Edwards Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 My mk3 golf does exactly that - if it's a nice warm day I might get 14.1V max and most of the time it stays about 13.2V I've only got an 800W monoblock and a 60W x 4 and I can drop down to 11.8V in no time!! xxtony1105 Posted October 4, 2012 Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 this same kind of phenomena happens in my jeep as well. i have a 1994 jeep cherokee. when cold it charges at about 14.3 and once it warms up it goes to about 13.5. althought it could be that its just old. The amps will be putting out more power and may not do so proportionately. I recall you saying something about the RF amps being constant power output drivers.
