__d_a_v_i_d__ Posted April 24, 2013 Author Report Posted April 24, 2013 3 ways to bit a box rise... 1. Built a box with little box-rise. Can go thru alot of boxes/wood. AND once you get little rise the box might sound like shit so whats the point, im very happy with the box, the subs love the box ! so this wasn't an option ! 2. Bigger amp, more power same rise but still having more power, this is what i wanted. But then had to pay more for bigger amp, and still have to upgrade electrical which i cant do both.. 3. WIRE LOWER! same amp.. lowered impedance.. and upgrade electrical. which i can do.. this is ideal in my application ! I do NOT recommend for anyone to wire below 1ohm..... was a bitch to get them out to rewire and solder... Was an even bigger bitch to get them back in with the box already in... like 40 mins each sub LOL Got collin in there ! Skinny homies FTW!!!Collin redid the solder in lead, cleanLegit little clamps to solder lol... soldering gun took too long, so grabbed a torch ! lol So now box rise is 0.9++... from 0.7 (4ohms) to 0.35(0.9ohms)Thanks Hunter and Collin !!!
