Im not seeing one on mine, but there is a remote wire however Im not sure if its for the turnon of the LOC or the turn on of the amp. meade916 Posted October 13, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 one of the channels does indeed have an auto sensing circuit on it.....Brian, your proto is the first of the first, i am not sure if your's has that feature yet. Anyway, i am just wrapping up a video showing this thing off and its verdict (although you won't need this much) is 10.3v clean, non distorted. The deck i used was a Kenwood, not really a "stock deck" but i used the high level outs and converted them down to low level. I only show the 10v because that is what it is capable of. For my video, i basically back the gains on the HLC-2 down to 5v and send it to the amp that way. Most amps can take 5v no problem. video is rendering right now. Of course, i used a DD-1 to set all gains but i also did it right next to my O-scope so you can see those two going at it neck and neck as well.
