General Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 This time i am gonna throw in my daily car.... a VOLVO S40 (trunk install)! My daily car; A Volvo S40. Transfered from family car into EMMA (sq) European champion, into PropperDroppers (SPL) demo car. Normaly a car for old farts, so i changed the exterior design with loads of "plastic". Original 13cm speaker, so i created doorpanels for 2x 16,5cm speakers. Created some tweeter pods for the highs. Filled the whole trunk with a clamshell/tunnel enclosure as a new home for my 4x GLADEN SQL-12 (12") subs. Really used every free space in my trunk. And fitted some decals on my car for the finishing touch. Score: 149,1dB @ 33hz (measured with TermLab censor at headrest) Could even score more when fine tuned with the SMD distortion device (hint, hint!!!) I took my car outside my town for a short bass demo video. I hope you like it. Here are some pictures from the build. Got some celebs on my driveway this morning....
