Where did you learn much of what you know about car audio? Forums, books, tearing apart your stock system?

i was from a time before fourms 90% of what i know is from installing/competeing and learning from other bass heads in the area that have being doing it 15+ years then the interwebs came along and gave me 10% moore knowlage

Sounddomain and Here is where most of my "knowledge" came from. My brother showed me how to hook up a radio/amp. SMD perfected that lesson.

from a friend that learned it from a friend. then he introduced me to the friend that taught him then his friend taught me more. from there i have been learning from self experience and from here. a lot more of the in depth stuff with box building and crossovers/active setups have been from here. the basic of wiring from my 2 friends, here and the 12volt source website.

My dad does it for a living so I've been around it all my life then I joined here and my knowledge has expanded 10 fold. I've learned (and I'm still learning) a lot from lurking the forums many topics and keeping up with the vets on here.
