New car (new to me)

So a few people here may have seen my build log for my 2005 Mustang GT. it had a 6.1" JVC DVD player, 4 8" DC lvl 2s run off a Memphis Mojo 4k. Here is a couple pics

Well last week on the way to work it was raining hard, I was driving up and over a bridge at 530am, out of no where my car started spinning sideways. I was able to keep fit from hitting anyone else, but the rear passenger tire caught the curb and spun me into the wall. No I was not speeding or stomping the gas, just normal daily driving. Here is the outcome

Turns out the frame was bent, so the insurance claimed it as a total loss. They really took care of me, with the gap insurance they paid the car loan off and are cutting me a check. They also let me get the entire system out, and most of the aftermarket parts off.

On the plus side, today I bought a new car(new to me), a 2006 Chrysler 300c with a 5.7L Hemi, leather, low mileage, great condition pretty good price

This car is luxurious, spacious, fast and has a large trunk with the battery already back there. Look for a new build log coming soon.

Sexy man. Got me reconsidering getting an suv next. Then again, I haven't had much luck with four doors.

The 300 is great. Compared the the stang, it has a lot more leg room in the front, almost double the space in the back seat. The seats are far more comfortable, they are heated. When you take the key out it automatically moves the seat back and the steering wheel up out of the way, then when you start the car it moves everything back where you had it. It accelerates very quick and smooth, rated at 340hp vs pony at 300. Pony was probly faster with the 5 speed and upgrades. The climate controls in the 300 is amazing. Just pick your temp, it gets it there and stays at that set temp. It also has auto dimming review mirrors and side mirrors. The worst I can say about this car is the cup holders are small. Lol. Even on the highway there is very little road noise. You can barely hear the wind in the front windows. Once I sell some old pony parts I hope to get some flow masters for the 300. Let people hear the Hemi.

when i told my wife about the 300 she said she thought it looked like an "old persons car" we test drove it, and she said, "yea, its pretty nice". I made her drive it, shes kind of a horsepower, speed freak. She hit the gas and whipped the ass end around a corner and then she was all for it.
