Broke_Audio_Addict
I'm pretty sure your blower would work on the 5.0 swap. There is a shop near me that's pretty big time for mustangs that is known nation wide that does the swaps you could shoot them an email and ask if it would work. They turn out some of the baddest ford's around. http://www.alternativeauto.com/Using_the_New_Boss_5.0L.html That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Turbo would be awesome though, word is there's a black '11 running around here turboed. Haven't seen it myself yet, but its got a loud spool and blowoff. Broke_Audio_Addict
Turbos have to spool superchargers don't. I personally love that SC whine more than turbo noise. boom50cal
boosted 5.0's are crazy... S/C'ed or Turbo'ed, it doesn't matter. the motors just love boost. Took my bitch in and got the oil changed. $13 later I'm still clean and before anyone comments on the price/quality, it's regular $45 the salesmen just give buyers a first maintenance appointment coupon. OrionStang
My s/c won't fit the 5.0, way different design than the 4.6, especially the heads. The guy said something about making 3v heads fit on the Coyote block, im not paying for some fucked up Frankenstein experiment though. OrionStang
how much can the stock bottom end hold? 700-750rwhp is my goal too but on the stock short block Im right at the limit already. The stock crank is beast, but the pistons and rods are the weak link. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
