Kevin M Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 I got some new front tires put on this morning. Came home and worked on the infinite baffle for the 3 18". Three fit width wise with about an inch to spare on either side. It's 1 1/2" thick and will be anchored to the car in two places. Should be pretty dead. With the trim pieces to mount it; it is close to 45lbs already. My guess it will be closer to 65 when it is done. Washed, removed some damn random grease off the drivers side of the car( it was small splatters all over the place) and tar, clayed the outside, and then waxed. I fell in love with the wax I got. It took only 15 minutes to get off! Meguiars Ultimate Paste wax is what I used. Smells good as well. Kevin M Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 Got my Infinite baffle and subs mounted in the car. You can monkey hang off of it. Screwed in at the top and bottom and bolted into the car. The bolt holes don't line up on the subs but I really am not sweating it. I could always redo the holes for that sub in 5 minutes if it bothered me. Still needs carpet and whatnot. I used some 2 1/2" foam to seal the gaps but will use something more permanent if I am happy with it.The bottom area covered with carpet will have 4 10" midbass playing from 60-250 hz in a few weeks. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
