beaker Posted December 29, 2012 Report Posted December 29, 2012 This is why OEM integration is so big. If you noticed when steve did his ISF he used his factory head unit and Fosgates new unit that does line level conversion and is tuneable by laptop.

Second, anyone that does have the cash for new cars will have enough for the "premium" option (which is $1000 or more for some crappy 8" sub and some crappy factory amp) Only good factory system I know of is the mustang's shaker 1000 which is 2 10's and supposedly sounds pretty good. I wouldn't really want an expensive car to get rattled apart anyway. It also depends on how it looks BEHIND the dash bezel. As far as the pic up top, it looks like a standard single DIN would fit in there but then the controls...are they attached to one unit, or buttons that are separate from it? Where there is a will, there is a way.
