Alt or Battery first?

I'm limited to only a battery or alternator by itself, i cant afford both, So which should I get? Im looking at a 250 amp alternator or a XS power D3400 but dont know which is more needed... I have voltage drop at idle and even at speed on some songs since i currently have a 90 amp alt with a 1300RMS system. Thanks!

battery first. i did my battery (xs d3400) still on stock alt and it helped greatly

What alternator? Don't get one of the cheesy ebay knock offs. If its a reputable brand then deff get the alternator.

box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz

amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450

You want to do your battery first. Upgrade the big 3 if you haven't already

I was gonna go with Excessive amperage or Mechman, not sure yet.. still need a quote from mechman, but I have the big 3 done and will a 250 amp alt and D3400 run a T1500.1 and Focal Solid 4(75x4)?

right now im running 1600 watts rms with a d3400 and all stock electrical and i dont dim at all and i drop .5-1 volt maybe at high volumes. youll be fine with just the battery

What size alternator is yours stock? Mines only 90:/
