LOL, wife and I can't talk about it. She's a social worker, so everyone should shoot bubbles, flowers, and puppies at each other and everything would be better.

Kind of felt bad a while back, made her cry she was so frustrated. So now we just don't talk about it.

My Gf of almost 4yrs is going to school for mental health/social work, and I'm going for Criminal Justice. Both 1yr from our bachelors.

Mine works in hospice, so she mainly sees poor farmers with cancer and stuff at their homes. I think the reason I made her cry was I got her to admit that A: practicing is fun and B: that she would want a conceal on her if she had to go to some of the houses in the city rather than her country homes. She understands our view, but hates that crazies can't be institutionalized like they were pre-80's/90's.

Her argument is you never know when a person might snap, had enough, and get a gun and go on a rampage, so don't let anyone have one so no one will get shot. Gave her the counters and that's when she started getting mad, and came back around to institutionalization and I point over to capital punishment.

So overall, yeah, we don't discuss it anymore.

I see how you could be frustrated with her. I would say, if a person snaps and cannot find a gun to harm people,

does that mean they un-snap and decide not to harm anyone?

Theres plenty of knives, sledgehammers and gasoline to snap with.

That was part of my counters. More she gets frustrated with me, than me with her. Here in MI in 1927 Bath Township, A person made their own bombs and took out a portion of a school, killing some 38 or so people, maiming another 56. It is the most deadly mass murder in a school in US history.

The only time a gun was used was when he pulled up next to the school with a rifle, and shot the explosives in his truck to blow himself up.

There are things me and my girlfriend will never see eye to eye with:

-Keeping the dome light on for a long time to find something when I'm driving

-Me owning a browning rifle my dad gave me

-I dont care about gas going up 3 cents in the last week

-I like pepsi and will drink a 2L when I want to (she really hates this)

However these things are easily ignored cause shes so damn hot with her black hair and belly ring.....

Thats a pretty retarded viewpoint right there. So when guys car jack or mug someone or rob a store and shoot their victim, her logic dictates that they must be in some sort of rampage? Damn, you might need to shake a bitch. Last I checked, career criminals are just that, career criminals, no rampage needed. Also a rampage, to me that kinda screens spur of the moment type violence, not a well planned, days, weeks or months in advance type of thing. And I agree with whoever above said it, theres still plenty of knives, hammers, gasoline, baseball bats should someone go on a rampage.

At my day job right now, we have 3 Honda Civics. All three are same model year, all 3 are a shade of blue. Not to interesting yet right?

Here's where it gets interesting. All 3 are connect to deaths. Murders to be exact.

Civic number one= 3 children, 2 adults, 2 cats and a dog all perished in this car from a murder/suicide. no guns used in any way shape or form.

Civic number two= Man confronts his wife in the garage when she gets home from work, things escalate, he bashes her skull in with a hammer, throws her in trunk and goes and dumps body in cornfield.

Civic number 3= carjacking, owner repeatedly stabbed then dumped out of car, owners dies at hospital.

So here, we have 3 examples, with a total of 9 deaths/murders ( including the pets). All violent deaths as well, not just a car accident or some silly shit.

So, according to a lot of logic the gun control asswipes are spouting, maybe we should apply this elsewhere as well, and perhaps a ban on 2009 Honda Civics shoud be enacted as well, seeing as I have concrete proof that all 3 of these units were involved in heinous crimes. We absolutely need a ban on Assault Hondas immediately. In my companies territory ( northern 3rd of the state) I have 9 victims, all tied together by one thing: Honda Civics. Now imagine how many Hondas have been linked to murders nationwide, now that must be a big number. I say no more blue Honda Civics. Black and white and red ones are ok though.

I play softball with a guy who was shot during a robbery attempt. One of the kids who used to be on her caseload was part of it. How do you think that conversation went.

I think she's saying that if we control guns, the opportunity for someone who has become insane to aquire a gun will be low.

But yea plenty of other weapons for the deranged to choose from, even their teeth.
