afrakes Posted February 7, 2013 Author Report Posted February 7, 2013 Yeah I'm looking at the fi q. I would prefer to buy new but if that's not an option I can understand. From what I understand the q gets down low but isn't too loud. Comparing to my single dd 512 now on 500 watts before rise, I think it will be plenty louder lol Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT Head Unit: Pioneer DEH- Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front) Subs/Amps: TBD

john253a Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 not like you have a small car, why not a single Q15" on the same power
TeamHT Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Q not loud? The word loud is subjective. Q/Havoc are just beast daily subs. I'm an FI/AA nut hugger though Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
afrakes Posted February 7, 2013 Author Report Posted February 7, 2013 Lol I'm not doing a 15 because my better half will rip my nuts off, fry them, and serve them to the dog. We bought the truck for space to go camping and skiing and fishing etc. if I do anything larger than 4 cubes it will kinda screw that up. And just because the sub says 15 she thinks its a huge sound difference(she likes bass. Just nothing more than 200 watts lol). I said I was getting another 12 and she was fine with it. Hence why I'm here haha. If I went 15 I would do a fi q in 4.5 cubes tuned to 29 hz lol Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT Head Unit: Pioneer DEH- Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front) Subs/Amps: TBD
