Breaking shit is half the fun lol, full tilt or gtfo

You got multiple vehicles big hoss. This is my only car. Breaking shit is not an option... But I'll full tilt it here soon. It's almost up to 60... And they are starting to get slightly looser.

1)play "Throw it"

2)clockwise rotation until it won't stop.

3)???

4)upload the video

Lol this guy^^^

I'm getting there, I gotta work up the balls first. Maybe I'll turn it to 54-55 instead of 56(where my gains are tuned at) then I'll see how it likes "full tilt" a click or two away from actual full. I just don't wanna give these clipped signal at all. I know these are 8x the subs my stock XFL's were but I'm paranoid about blowing shit now because I can't afford to replace it again for a couple months.

A true full tilt video is coming soon though I promise.

Lol... That last bass note where I showed the sunroof was about 70%.. Less then 80%. Gonna get her all tuned in here tomorrow then start working on the electrical and doors.

It sounds amazing though. And yes... I'm scared for my sunroof bro.

Soooo... Who wants a new demo video? I have a couple videos in my phone, might take a couple more and upload my favorites.

My personal thoughts. Sounds way cleaner. Hits with way more authority to the ears. Lows sound much more defined and "full"

I also found out that I was slightly clipping before on notes lower then 30hz while using the stock XFL's. I'm 110% clean signal now between 23 - 65... And I have my subsonic at 24 and my LPF at 65.

I'm still around a 147 on the ear o meter around 32-35hz. And most likely above a 145 down to 28. And I can play down to 25 with good authority. I start to lose around 45hz on the high end. Overall it sounds awesome and I've had everyone tell me that it sounds just as loud but WAYYYYYYY cleaner now. So I guess that's a positive.

Since I fixed my clipping thing my sunroof moves about as much as it did before, my back doors still flex about the same. But now I can play these subs full tilt almost as long as I want. So far my record is 14 minutes with out touching the bass or volume knob.

I'm dropping to about 13.1 lowest now so I gotta get that a little higher. And now my limiting factors are my amps heating up. I used my DMM to take their tempature after 14minutes non stop and they were 103 (4ch) and 105.6 (bass) so I'll be trying to give them better voltage and giving them fans to help cool off. (Black car .... in a air tight trunk? Ouch I don't blame them for getting hot)

Plus when I switch the door speakers out for active I'll be running 4ohm on all 4 ch instead of 2.7 so maybe the 4channel will run cooler.

Overall this was an awesome recone upgrade. And did exactly what I needed, I'll update on them soon just to insure that it am just as pleased. Now next goals are

1) d3100

2) DD vo6.5 and t2 tweeter run active

3) SMD TM-1 (to check temp on bass amp)

4) DC power 270xp

5) d3400 with tool maker terminals for them too

6) some kinda amp fan system....

7) apply carpet and make beauty panels ***eventually***

Then she is done! (Audio wise) btw...

Update pics and vids will be uploaded between Sunday and Tuesday coming up. But I'd love to hear more comments!

Yeah maybe one of those too grant lol. It's just a matter of HOW I can it it there while looking nice... Im running out of room if I'm going to maintain how it looks. Especially since I don't use beauty panels to hide wires.

I'll figure it out though. Today the amps got that hot because I beat on them hard and it was 77 outside!!! I think I have at least 2 more months before I have to worry about tempature being too high to keep my amps cool.
