CW06Silvy
Alright here is what I'm looking at...Rims are going on a 2006 SIlverado Z71 4x4 with a stock suspension.Heres the catches:1. Truck has air bag (helper spings) installed so the offset needs to keep the tire no closer than the stock 265 tire sits.2. This thing has 1700 pounds in the bed of system, so the tires need to be strong and not crack.3. I live on a rough road so they cannot be cheap and unfortunately I cannot do 26" wheels (fear of destroying them).I would ideally like a 22 or 24" rim setup but do not know what offset I need, and was wondering from your experience what size rims would work and which tire brands really hold up well to the weight. 2006 Silverado Ext. Moreno93
My truck which is similiar, has 20" rims i dont know if this is with all 20" rims but mine are wider then the stock tires were.. i had street tire's when i first got the truck. But im a pretty outdoorsy person, so those just weren't working ended up getting all terrians soooo much better in dirt and snow
zayres29
Just go to a local shop they can tell you exactly what you need they are paid to know the right offsets Btw that was the first person. WastedTalent
Just go to a local shop they can tell you exactly what you need they are paid to know the right offsets Not true. There's another thread here somewhere that talks about universal fit. No such thing as that but yet, they'll tell you it exists and such.
