The guy that did it was damn cool! Normally takes him 4-5h for a car like mine, took him 8 because we were talkin so much. Learned a ton about tinting. Really overall a great experience. I might end up going back up this saturday to help him do an install. He wanted to see the smd tools in action too. DubNDodge Posted February 15, 2014 Author Report Posted February 15, 2014 Welp. Tonight was a good night! Decided to pull seats and rip the subs out. praying that the t nuts wouldn't come loose. So I pulled my seats and noticed this. NOT cool. I guess I should have checked to see how tight it was against the seat. I'll have to make sure this time that it is above that damn seat frame. THIS IS WHY YOU FUSE. Not sure how it didn't short out. I guess it was because the frame of the seat had a good few layers of paint. I got lucky that's for sure. Out comes #1 son of a bitch...... can't see it in the picture, but the edges aren't touching. 0.5mm of a gap. at least it was the only one thoughout the whole box. not sure if I should fill it with fiberglass resin, or wood glue. everything is out going to try and work on bracing/glassing the box tomorrow and sunday. with a shot of luck, I might try and use the tnuts again. I will probably put a little resin on the backside.
