I was thinking external would keep your box dimensions to whatever you want them to be without having to work around the port, might look a little different but I'm sure you could get creative and put the box behind the armrest and run the port through the armrest. Or maybe mount the sub inverted and build a slot port box and replace the armrest with it, then mount the sub towards the back and put the port towards the front firing up? Idk man, so many possibilities with that 8" sub it's got me wanting one just to fuck around with, ha

I'm not to sure what to do with it yet lol. Im going to mess around holding it at different angles in the area I have and then go from there, cardborad templates and then myabe something super easy to cut like 1/4" to check its all good, then final in 3/4...I might try a kerf..they are so sexy.

What kinds of bucket seats fit in the back? There's always that option. Do a console like ib's truck, just in smaller scale for a smaller truck, and add cup holders and shit

buckets won't fit without some pretty good modification...theres only four seat bolts for the rear bench...i have a pretty good idea for an enclosure that would give me external aeroports and still sit three people back there. If I can't fit it...gurss I'll sell it lol

Yeah, the spider is larger then standard and I beleive there are two...not sure SPLaudio built it.

I blew it partially though. Still plays but I know one coil is toast or close to it.

I have it in a small sealed enclosure, .35ft cubed. SOUNDED GREAT and was better then expected sealed. Im going to work on a 4th, .35ft cubed sealed side and .75 ported side tuned to 40ish with good sized port.

I know its a lower ratio, but Im not going for peak output, I want a flatter response and i have small area to work with anyway.

Its not an "SQ" build, but Im aiming for the cleanest, most well balanced build I have had thus far. I'm exited for the next two weeks here, some changes to come.

Kicks going in with second set of mids, new 4th order and recone....time to get to it.
