I have always built them with a regular drill in the past and they came out good but not as nice as with a drill press could do. I have wanted one for a long time but never got around to buying one....till today. I know, its ABOUT DAMN TIME! Also, even though i already own a nice miter saw, i wanted a 2nd one to dedicate to metal cutting, like for the bus bars for instance. I get tired of switching blades every time I got this one on sale and the stand was also on sale...that is another thing i never had, a stand for my miter saw Has the laser X on it which is real nice.
