My bad your right, running Bi-amped now and going active this weekend so i couldnt remember either. Sorry for wrong info. T400-4 are running about $230 but i am sure you can get a higher wattage amp from a different brand name. They are really clear powerful amps though, i guess it depends on how clean your HU will be. Midbass on these T2s is solid, sound deadened & foamed doors and have twice the response and clearity than leaving them stock. Way worth the time it takes to do it right.

The t1 and t2 midrange are the SAME speaker. The only difference between t1 and t2 is the tweeter material. One is silk dome (t1) and the other is metal (t2)

EDIT i think you were looking at the T1 6.75s not the 6.5s nor the 6.5 T2s cuz the T1 6.75 are 100rms as well as the T2s but they are backorded

Oh damn I always forget that phase plug. But either way its essentially the same woofer for power handling and all that.

I run my t1's off a DC audio 175.4 and originally had each side wired to one channel. The mids ran at 2 ohms and I originally only had the one pair of tweeters so they had their own dedicated channel per side at 4 ohms. I had to turn down the volume on the tweeters a ton because I blew one of them and they get loud fast so you don't need a ton of power for those tweeters to get loud.
