CommonSyns
I'll let them break in and see if it changes. I absolutely love these subs, they go way lower than my spg to the point where they shake my entire car. Maybe I'm going deaf because my friends say its loud as hell. To me they seem quieter. Could it be that I tuned to low? I am tuned to 30 on my ported box and my crossovers for low pass was set by the CC-1 at 71 hertz. Raptorman
You're not going deaf. You're just getting used to it. CommonSyns
Lol my friend with an all alpine system thinks hes louder than me. 2 Type E's in a prefab sealed box on an MRP-500 250 going to each subwoofer. With Alpine Type R's all around. Its pretty loud but it just makes me enjoy my system even more, lol. Skullz
New subs suspensions are still quite stiff and will take time to break in and get louder so just give them some time and before you know it they'll be louder than they are now. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

ChevyBoy95
I got the ZVX 15's in last night, and I got to try them today. They don't seem to be as loud as I thought, My SPG seems alot louder. go bassless for a month or two, then any two 15s will sound like 18s. It is a weird deal but it will make you upgrade and upgrade and upgrade..... WhiteNastyCharger10
Can def put more power on it Kevin just sent me zvx v2 15 prototype and i love it. I put the sk2500 on it and it smiles as me as it plays. Loves the power its getting, and could even take more. Im using it everyday so 2500+ watts is plenty for everyday use. Check out my build in System Of the Month and look at the type of setup im running. In the pics im running 4 8's but currently its 1 15" in the same box same style =] Vote Vote Vote 2010 Dodge Charger -Team Skar Audio -Team XS Power -Team HiMarc Automotive and Kustoms -A&G Graphics

I received mine a few days ago and cant wait to see what it will do. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164796-new-skar-zvx-15-new-design-just-recieved-yesterday/ I would say that most people are running the vvx off the 1500 and the zvx off the 2500. Chillmaster Will recommended at least 1000 on the vvx.
